Continuing the musical education in the adult years is vital to self expression. We lead small, no pressure group classes to help adults unwind from their long work day, learn a new skill and meet new people.
Adult Fundamentals of Guitar
n this guitar focused class, adults will learn how to play the guitar as true instrumentalists. Throughout this course, students will be looking at proper form, note reading, chord & chord structure, classical-style finger picking (PIMA), scales and music theory. This is a more in-depth approach to learning how to play the guitar with a classically trained musician. Students are required to provide their own acoustic guitar. This class is for brand new beginners.

Uku-Ladies Night
It’s Ladies Night at UpBeat! Come take some time off and treat yourself to a new skill. Ukulele is a fun, enjoyable and portable instrument that is quick to learn basic skills. In this comfortable environment, adult students will set their own pace and above all else, have fun!
