About me:

Katrina Goodwill is a mom, wife, pastor, teacher and lover of all things music. She started playing viola in middle school and fell in love with it right away. Soon she found every chance she could to get involved in music. From the Youth Orchestra at Mesa State University to Colorado’s All State Orchestra, and many string quartets, music filled her time. In high school, Katrina spent her summers at different music camps including Breckenridge Music festival and Rocky Ridge Music Camp in Estes Park, Colorado.

Katrina attended Interlochen Arts Academy for high school studying viola under David Holland. She has been blessed to study with violist Scott Woolweaver, Amber Campbell, David Holland as well as participate in master classes with many famous musicians such as Pinchas Zukerman, Joshua Bell, Hillary Hunn and many more. After high school, Katrina got her BA in Education from DePaul University in Chicago. While in college she started playing violin as well as viola. Katrina met her husband in college and together they attended seminary, and both are ordained pastors with The Salvation Army.
Together they have three daughters, 4 cats and a dog! Katrina has also finished her master’s degree in literacy, curriculum and instruction through Concordia University. She loves teaching, whether in a church, classroom or private lessons. Katrina also enjoys playing in the Midland Community Orchestra where she is the principal violist.
